Electric Forklifts

Electric forklifts are the most environmentally friendly. They are fume free, making them ideal for indoor applications. They are also extremely quiet and generally more maneuverable then engine powered forklifts. They are often more compact in size, as the battery acts as the counterbalance.

The cost of charging the battery, particularly on overnight low-tariff or solar panel generated electricity, is considerably lower than replacing gas bottles or filling a diesel tank.

Electric trucks only have an accelerator and brake pedal. There is no need to 'rev' the engine for fast lifting or hill starting. The maintenance and servicing costs of electric forklifts is considerably less than engine powered alternatives.
